Taylor Bosse, well known as Ochestrobe, released a 6 track EP through ThazDope Records titled “Triangle”. Ochestrobe shows off his wonky wubs on a whole new level. Up and coming on the scene, he produces a very familiar, yet addictive sound, that many of us yearn for. There’s something about that deep down-tempo bass that we just can’t get enough of.
Explore Ochestrobe’s darkside with “Triangle”.
Not straying far from his signature sound, Ochestrobe’s “Firejam” starts things off with a bang.
The rather lengthy intro to the track prepares you for the massive bass that follows. The steady drumbeat throughout gives it a unique piece of consistency that is subtle but necessary. The 2nd track takes a creepier turn with a completely different pace behind it.
“Underwarter” starts out with trippy gibberish vocals that flow seamlessly into a faster bass beat.
The sounds have a Widdler type vibe to it, which you can really never go wrong with. The title track “Triangle” is the final song on the EP. The saying ‘save the best for last’ definitely applies in this case.
The best part about this tune is the progression.
Beginning with simple drum and xylophone beats that play through the track, the bass progresses from deep to deeper in a short span. There couldn’t have been a better choice to end the EP with.
In its entirety, “Triangle” gives us a good idea about the trajectory Ochestrobe is heading towards.
With a lot of talent on his side, we can only pray he keeps making the wompiest of wubs for years to come.
