According to Rolling Stone and multiple other outlets, the electronic dance music industry is worth $6.2 billion. Revenue estimates include festivals, venue estimates, DJ software and much more. Out of the $6.2 billion, only 22.5% is attributed to the music, whether it be sales or music streaming services. Guess the recent boom of festivals in the music industry is where the money is at!
