In his late teens, Diplo used to hop freight trains and once traveled from Tennessee to Georgia stowed away on flatbeds.
Growing up, Diplo says his family had to move a lot and was short on money. “I wanted to see how far I could go with, like, $60 in my pocket,” he says.
