Trippy Turtle is well known throughout the circuit as a popular DJ from New Jersey.
Now, he has dipped his toe in the production pool.
Self proclaimed CEO of Fofofadi record label, Trippy Turtle released “Trippy’s Theme” just before summer ’14 under the Mad Decent Jeffrey’s label – and perfect timing.
The original tune is high octane as is, crossing many genres of R&B, 90’s slow jams, electronic, bass, drum & bass, grime, juke, etc.
Trippy Turtle didn’t leave anything untouched during his production of the track.

TWRK is comprised of Benzi and eSenTRIK and also highlights the addition of Baltimore rapper Spank Rock.
TWRK’s remix of “Trippy’s Theme” is a sun-setting-party-on-the-beach-drinks-flowing kind of track.
The simple short hook leads into the instrumental verses (with the variation Spank Rock added in the remix) keeping the heavy head nodding and cut time moments to help ride the beat (or grind).
The samples used in the song are similar to Cashmere Cat, Ryan Hemsworth, Gents & Jawns etc.
Most notably included in the sound are the bed squeaks and water droplet simulations.
