This one ends where the first one started. Whethan closes the loop on WAREHOUSE.WAVS2 with a remix of ’23’ by Mike Will Made-It, Miley Cyrus, and Juicy J — a nod back to the Juicy J flip that opened the first installment with ‘A Zip and a Double Cup‘, and its just as addictive as well as available for a free download.
The Chicago producer’s second WAVs drop includes some of the best deep bass music lately, which proved to resonate during his bassPOD takeover at EDC Las Vegas 2026.

Built from the records currently wrecking his live sets, WAREHOUSE.WAVS2 is pure controlled chaos, bass-era staples, hardcore edges, and internet-age anthems all fed through Whethan’s current obsessions: dubstep, trap, and warehouse-driven glory. The highlights stack up fast. A$AP Rocky‘s ‘Distorted Records’, once the explosive opener to ‘TESTING’, gets gutted and rebuilt into a full bass weapon alongside Dennett.
Southern rap nostalgia runs deep throughout. Huey‘s ‘Pop Lock & Drop It’, Rich Boy‘s ‘Throw Some D’s‘, Yung Joc‘s ‘It’s Goin Down’, club and street music DNA from an era that defined a generation, all get the flip treatment. Blog-era rap gets its moment too, with ‘Beamer, Benz or Bentley’ sitting comfortably alongside a rework of viral rapper EsDeeKid‘s ‘4raws’ and a bass-heavy reimagining of Kaskade‘s progressive house classic ‘Move For Me’. Then there’s the Turnstile flip. ‘BIRDS’ gets pushed fully into heavier territory while shooting the vocals to new heights, channelling exactly the aggression that’s been pulling emo kids and bass crowds into the same rooms lately.
Since going back to his bass and dubstep roots in early 2025, Whethan has been on a different kind of roll, sold-out dates across LA, Chicago, New York and Denver, warehouse pop-ups selling out in minutes, and nearly 90,000 fans queued up on Laylo. WAREHOUSE.WAVS2 is exactly what it promises: raw, live-tested, built for the rave and the internet in equal measure.
