Another New Years has come and gone and the best place to be to ring in 2019 was SnowGlobe. The beautiful backdrop of South Lake Tahoe paired with amazing performances combined for a truly unforgettable event ending an eventful year. Snow was on the ground, drinks were flowing, beats were bumping and the vibes were perfect.
Whether staying in a hotel in nearby Stateline, NV or staying in a cabin in classic Tahoe style the event has one of the better aesthetics one can find.
Day one was an EDM heavy day with many great acts such as Rezz, Party Favor, Eric Prydz and many more was a perfect way to start the festival. Blue skies and stunning fireworks to end the night lead to a perfect day one.
Day two still with more blue bird skies made for an exceptionally beautiful day. The air may have been cold but the music was hot. A huge variety of acts including Diplo, RL Grimes, Ekali, Baauer and a B2B set with Chris Lake and Walker & Royce, indoors and out meant there was something for everyone again ending the night with fireworks to get the crowd stoked for the big day.
Day three was the perfect apex to a perfect three days. A powerhouse of a lineup came to an awesome end. The day started strong with amazing sets from Slumberjack and several others continued into the evening and night. Like many others, the move was to switch between the warm tents and the cold outside. Nobody missed the headlining sets outside to ring in 2019. Gorgon City followed by a B2B with NGHTMRE & Slander leading into the finale of Above & Beyond combined with fireworks surrounded by thousands of people was an unforgettable end of a year and start to another.
Like every year I’ve been before, SnowGlobe did not disappoint. This one of a kind music festival is a must attend and I will definitely be back next year. I hope to see you there too.
