Spanning nine generations of Santa Barbara sunshine, Matt Cazwell’s influences are deeply rooted in Southern California.
After picking up the guitar in elementary school, the multi-instrumentalist has continued to adopt percussion, piano, and bass in his diverse arsenal of musical weapons.
Through a process of consistently refining his musical prowess, the 23-year old SoCal product stepped into the ring of electronic dance music production in his latter teenage years, playing numerous shows and clubs around the Southwest United States.
Fast forward to 2015 and Matt Cazwell is back with his fourth EP.
Available March 6 through Stupid Fly Records, the Lonely Hearts EP is a showcase of Cazwell’s musical evolution. Featuring a dubbed out remix of the timeless 1983 classic “Owner of a Lonely Heart” by Yes, Lonely Hearts continues to showcase the talents that have earned him opening spots for Adventure Club, Helicopter Showdown, and Lady Faith.
