Ladies and Gentlemen, the wait is over.
Late February 26 Diplo and Skrillex released the long awaited album for their collaboration known as Jack Ü.
Announcing the album drop via Instagram, Diplo provided fans with a link to the itunes download in the caption with Skrillex making his own post soon after.
This was all in the middle of the collaboration’s 24 hour live stream set that they made available to any and all viewers here.
The closeness of the release had been alluded to on several occasions by both Skrillex and Diplo through various social media posts, leaving us with very little to go off of other than the simple word “soon” in every caption.
Jack Ü teased us for months with the early availability of the “Take Ü There” track, which had everyone begging for more, but the album altogether is more than we could have hoped for.
This is the type of album you listen to on the road trip to the festival; the album you blast through the speakers all throughout spring break.
Complete with both Missy Elliott and original Kiesza versions of “Take You There,” mixes with Snails, 2 Chainz, and even Justin Bieber – Jack Ü gets you out of your chair and into the nearest dance party. From dirty beats like “Jungle Bae” to the more chill side of things with “Where Are Ü Now,” you will be grooving to this album all day.
