French producer Habstrakt has been in the bass scene for a while now. As one of Never Say Die Records‘ heavy players, his tracks have gotten major attention over the years.
When bass house started becoming popular around this time last year, he was one of the first and few producers to bring ingenuity to the already over-saturated genre. His remixes of MUST DIE!‘s “Hellcat” and Skrillex‘s “Dirty Vibe” are staples of the genre and still get regular play at festivals.
After many months, he’s back with the French Press EP mixing dubstep and bass house together in a tightly-knit heavy record.
The EP is 4 tracks long (excluding the prelude track) and features 2 bass house songs alongside 2 dubstep ones.
The duality of this EP is exactly what bass heads are looking for: two heavy tracks that you can headbang to and two heavy ones that you can dance to.
