Is Georgia Still on Your Mind? A Look Back at CounterPoint Music Festival 2014

Mad Props to All the Sponsors and Festival Organizers

First things first. MCP Presents and C3 Presents deserve all the props in the world for bringing everything together.

blu Ecigs kept the chill vibe while hooking festival-goers up with their vape fix at the Freedom Lounge, Cracker Jack’d helped eliminate munchies far and wide and Bed Head kept us looking our best. When it came to beverages Bell’s Brewery kept satiating that thirst with their deliciously crafted micro-brews, and Heineken provided a mind-bending interactive art installation that allowed us to take a load off while appreciate some of the most talented local artists in the area. Zippo curated special edition CounterPoint 2014 lighters that were raised by the whole crowd as Flosstradamus threw down, Solar-Go Productions provided an eco-friendly way to keep our gadgets fully juiced, and Diffraction kept it trippy with their awesome custom eyewear. Not to mention all of the local vendors that shared their passion with every one there.

Georgia On My Mind

I once heard someone say that true love is the souls recognition of its’ counter point in another so it is fitting that the title of one of this summers’ ultimate musical gatherings is known far and wide as the CounterPoint Music and Arts Festival because we at thatDROP absolutely love each and every one of you that we got to share the energy with this past weekend.

Hope to see you soon fest fam.

  1. Great Article! I wish I could time travel back to all of it<3
The photo on the first page though, Blonde girl throwing a heart out to Pretty Lights, is my photo. Photos are intellectual property of the owner by default, so I do own the copyrights to this photo, so if I could get some photo cred? That'd be awesome!

  2. You have for sure put Georgia back on my mind! There were sooo many amazing sets that weekend. I will definitely be back and recommend to any and all festival goers.
