For London DJ, Troyboi, it’s been nearly five months since he has released a new track. Now, right after announcing a brand new album, ‘Left is Right’ which is to be released on August 25th, he stomps us with a heavy banger, ‘What You Know’.
‘What You Know’ ingrains a slower beginning however, without a build up, he knocks in a trappy bass drop.
The London DJ is known to have various textures, grasping beats of different sub-genres, resulting into a singular unique sound, which he calls “My Style”.
He recently told 1001 Track Lists, that his new album is a representation of the music he creates. As for he never tries to achieve one particular genre, but yet creates his own. ‘What You Know’ perfectly teases both his North America Tour and new album.
Despite having a very busy year hitting some of the largest festivals nationwide, and delighting his fans with his ‘Mantra’ tour, it doesn’t stop him from doing it again this fall.
‘Left is Right’ tour will be taking him to favored venues throughout the states like opening for STS9 at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado, The Observatory in Orange County and even, Concord Music Hall in Chicago, IL.
