Opiuo has dropped his second album – Meraki – just in time for the festival circuit. This summer will see the Kiwi making stops at Coachella, Euphoria, and Sonic Bloom, just to name a few.
Having performed alongside the likes of MC Hammer, Bassnectar, and Pretty Lights, you can imagine the kind of treat you are in store for at an Opiuo show.
The glitch master of funky beats has concocted an EP full of hip-hop, funk, groove, ambiance, “warm syrupy bass” (says the man himself) and everything else essential for getting your body to wobble like a noodle and vibe out. Better yet, it has been made available for free download.
