Pretty Lights at Red Rocks – 8/10/14

Just 30-40 minutes from Red Rocks Amphitheater and downtown Denver, the University of Colorado is but a stone’s throw from one of the hubs of electronic dance music. With over 30,000 of the most passionate undergraduate students in the country (regardless of their endeavors), UofC is as lively as any university on the map.

Being that close to Red Rocks does not suck either. One of the most beautiful natural venues in all of music, Red Rocks has hosted acts such as Colorado native Pretty Lights with the live band and Colorado Symphony and is home to Global Dance Music Festival and Decadence. As if that were not enough, State Bridge is just a short 2 and a half hour drive away, one of the least heard about venues that you need to experience at least once in your lifetime. Home to the EDM Network, The Polish Ambassador, and many other flourishing electronic producers, Denver is establishing itself as a mecca of creation.
