Centrally located within the heart of the country, Columbus, Ohio is within driving distance to many major cities including Chicago, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Louisville, and many more, easily giving access to many music festivals and venues in the Midwest. Many local venues provide platforms for upcoming artists to showcase their talents as well. Skully’s has held shows for Gramatik and numerous others, Pretty Lights has performed at the Lifestyles Community Pavilion, and Madeon has performed at what is now known as the Bluestone. Two professional arenas in the Schottenstein Center and Nationwide Arena provide space for tours that have included Tiesto, Hardwell, and more.
With one of the largest undergraduate populations in the country, the electronic dance music community is flourishing on the banks of the Olentangy River.
