3. Miami, Florida
The subtropical climate makes Miami the ideal destination for, well, anything really.
Home to the world renowned Ultra Music Festival, Winter Music Conference, and Miami Music Week, Miami packs more individual sets in to one week than most cities do, combined, in an entire year. Even when it is not the biggest week all year in EDM, Miami still boasts clubs that operate 24/7, daily pool parties, and “smaller” festivals that stand in the shadow of Ultra like Nikki Beach and Remembrance. And if your typical festival was not enough, Groove Cruise and Holy Ship also set sail from Miami en route to their Caribbean voyages.
Yet another city where you can find pretty much any thing your heart could desire on any night of the week. LIV – Miami Beach ranked as the Best EDM nightclub of all time in the U.S. Others like Mansion, Story, Eleven, Space, and SET also feature the biggest names in electronic dance music on every night of the week. Anybody who is anybody will make Miami a stop on their tour, even if it is only one of a handful of United States cities.
Having produced countless artists and tunes, Basshead, Petfood, Loveless, Slow Roast, Mr. Nice Guy, and Ultra Records are just a few of the labels that call Miami home.
Chances are that you will probably even bump in to your favorite producer on a leisurely stroll down Collins Avenue.
