Since the its inaugural year in 1987, South By Southwest (SXSW) has played host to thousands of electronic music producers and DJs who have significantly contributed to the blossoming growth that EDM is experiencing.
With the undeniable impact that EDM is having on the global economy and with more brands striving to reach Millennials, what better place to further integrate than at the largest city-wide music gathering in the United States.
Recognizing the synergistic opportunities stemming from these upward trends, event organizers at SXSW are expanding EDM offerings in 2015.
SXSW’s influence on the global musical landscape remains vast; we feel the growing share of electronic music within that powerful context (in Austin, Texas to boot) is really exciting.
