Spring Awakening returns to Chicago and React Presents holds nothing back as they pull a lineup to satisfy the whole electronic music family. Across 6 uniquely branded stages there will be 80 artists shaking the grounds of Addams-Medill Park this June 9th-11th.
Headliners across the two-main stages that are appropriately dubbed, Solstice and Equinox, will consist of trance legend Armin Van Buuren, former Swedish House Mafia members AXWELL /\ INGROSSO, future bass titan Marshmello, unforgiving drops by Excision, Chicago’s own Louis The Child, tropical house pioneer Thomas Jack and more.

Alongside them will be shark squad leader JAUZ, Dutch electro house legend Afrojack, 2016 Top 100 DJs winner Martin Garrix and renowned trap duo Yellow Claw. In addition, there will be performances from dubstep dominator Datsik, drumstick-wielding duo Galantis, funkmaster GRiZ, as well as the mysterious and soulful ZHU.
Beyond artists performing on SAMF’s Main Stages, the three-day festival will also feature two Branded Stage takeovers each day. On Friday, June 9th, the first two Branded Stages will be hosted by acclaimed music publication Dancing Astronaut and React’s simmering house event series, Body Language.
Saturday, June 10th will see SAMF’s Branded Stages transformed by Above & Beyond’s smooth and sultry deep house imprint Anjunadeep and the return of React’s veteran Trance Arena series, featuring its own euphoric atmosphere. The Trance Arena will also be graced by a very special guest appearance, which will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Topping off the weekend on Sunday, June 11th will be hosted takeovers from React’s longstanding Bass Kitchen series, known for its unmistakably brutal bass carnage, and Sunday School, a longstanding series known for its “festival within a festival” atmosphere.
