Fans of electronic dance music in Los Angeles and Miami are in for a treat, as the legendary Pete Tong is bringing his BBC Radio 1 show on the road.
The first of the two performances will occur January 22 with a special 3-hour broadcast from the rooftops of West Hollywood. Eric Prydz, MK, Richie Hawtin, and Claude VonStroke are among the names announced so far with more special guests expected.
Says Tong:
I’m very excited about my show coming live from LA on Jan 22nd. Los Angeles has become a creative hub for electronic artists from all over the world during the past few years, and California and Las Vegas a hotbed of ground-breaking festivals and some of the world’s leading clubs. Bringing the show out of Hollywood and being able to reflect some of the exciting things going on is a great way to start the year.
Following up the LA performance will be a sunny exhibition in South Florida during Miami Music Week on March 18. More details will be announced via the BBC Radio 1 show in the coming weeks. You can stay up to date the latest by connecting with BBC here.
