FNGRS CRSSD just announced FNGRS CRSSD x CROSS POLLINATION, a one day event curated by Lane 8, happening August 9 in San Diego. The format is simple: no solo sets, just back to back performances all night from artists who’ve spent years defining dance music.
Lane 8 B2B Sultan + Shepard headlines. Two longtime collaborators, both known for productions that hit hard emotionally and live sets that turn into those moments on the dance floor. A Yotto B2B Kasbo takeoff is next, pairing Yotto’s progressively harmonic style with Kasbo’s more emotive sound. While Kasbo and Lane 8 releases music together before, this mix with Yotto will be worth the travels.
Massane B2B Qrion brings the storytelling energy that’s become a signature of This Never Happened. Ashibah B2B Grigoré (Defected and Diynamic) closes it out with darker music to cover the spectrum.
Cross Pollination runs on that same idea as This Never Happened: phone free sets, real presence, no distractions. Presented by the CRSSD Festival team, this never before seen showcase will be at Waterfront Park, right on San Diego’s bayfront, with harbor views, skyline in the background, the sunset on the horizon, and open green space, the legendary setting for the FNGRS CRSSD experience.
