Off the grid, in the center of America’s Heartland, lies a musical experience that has continued to fly under the radar. Backwoods Music Festival can only be described exactly as the imagery conjured by the name of the event.
Navigating the infamous Route 66 east of Oklahoma City lead attendees down a two-lane country road to the tranquil Tatanka Ranch where Porter Robinson, Odesza, and Infected Mushroom were among headliners of the weekend festivities.
This year saw Backwoods elevate the experience through enhanced production and stage design, extracurricular activities, and musical diversity.
