Noer The Boy dropped one of the most tweaked-out and wonky tracks that we’ve ever heard. Released on DJ Shadow’s Liquid Amber Digital Dubplates imprint, “Soda Pop” is the first release on the digital-only Liquid Amber offshoot.
As ambitious as it is wacky, much of “Soda Pop” was created by re-sampling soda cans being struck in different ways. It’s. Downright. Epic.
With an insanely warped sound that takes a second to fully comprehend, “Soda Pop” is one wacked-out track that you have to check out based on creativity alone.
With an experimental vibe that flows freely throughout the entirety of the track, “Soda Pop” fully comes into its own around the 1:45 mark as a ruthlessly mean bass line rears its beautiful head. With the track’s experimental feel and unbelievable concept, “Soda Pop” definitely deserves to drop out of your sound system today.
