DJ Shadow’s Liquid Amber imprint dropped the second installment of the label’s digital-only download series, Digital Dubplates, and it’s a bass laden expedition to the dark depths of electronic music.

With a bass level that would make Bassnectar’s sound system spew tears of joy, Amsterdam’s Know V.A. drops the menacing deep pocket groover “VOMAR” to the world’s ear.

“VOMAR” immediately grabs listeners with its menacing cadence, guttural bass punches, and sporadic percussion. Digging further, ominous synth bleeps punctuate the track’s spacious sound, giving a space-like edge to Know V.A.’s sinister production.
