George Fotiadis, otherwise known as Basement Freaks, has been an instrumental force in the Ghetto Funk scene throughout the past 10 years.  His decorated resume includes numerous vinyl releases, 2 full albums, more than 15 remixes and countless EPs. Over the course of his career he has demonstrated his ability to infuse multiple genres and instruments by showcasing his multi-talented skills in guitar, bass and drums.

All of his music is flooded with irresistible and distinctive grooves as he explores the gaps between disco, funk, breaks, jazz, afro, latin and dub.

In addition to all of his hard work in the studio, Fotiadis has toured all over Europe and graced the stages of Glastonbury Festival, Fabric & Cable Nightclubs and the Exit & Reworks Festivals. He’s also headlined the world’s biggest and baddest breakbeat festival – Shambhala – in Canada. He currently resides in Hamburg, Germany and is the boss for the infamous label, Bombastic Jam. With a repertoire as wide and diverse as Fotiadis we highly recommend you check out his SoundCloud page, where he has a variety of free downloads and DJ mixes for you to cut your teeth on.
