Next up, we have Featurecast who has been setting dancefloors on fire for years with his distinct brand of mid-tempo breaks, DnB, hip-hop, funk and deliciously crafted basslines. Hailing from Southampton, Lee Mintram started gaining steam in 2008 when he released over 6 EPs and a host of singles that got radio play and rave reviews from none other than BBC Radio1. Mintram hasn’t slowed down since and his impressive list of festivals includes Glastonbury, Shambhala, Breaksfest, Bestival, 3p, Beat Herder, and Fusion festival to name a few. His productions and bootlegs are fan-funkin’-tastic and his knack for writing massive, melting bass grooves are going to make you move your body in ways you never thought possible. Still not impressed? Just wait till you hear this beast on the turntables.

His ability to get the party hoppin’ is blatant on every mixtape as he flawlessly cuts from one genre to another, relentlessly scattering funk samples and hip-hop verses on top of bangin’ beats while laying down amazing pinpoint scratching.

Simply put, Mintram does it all and he can dazzle any crowd with his unique sound and effortless balance of re-funked old school favorites and fresh cut party starters.

“Featurecast has you believing that he’s a breakbeat freak who really is from the Bronx” – NME
