On February 3 Deadmau5, commonly known by his real name Joel Thomas Zimmerman, released pictures of his custom Nyan Cat themed Ferrari, emulating the popular internet meme.
Deadmau5 has also entered the world famous Gumball 3000 Rally. It is rumored that Zimmerman will enter the race with his newly finished Ferrari 458 Spyder.
The theme of the rally – Miami to Ibiza – is fitting for the electronic music producer.
Beginning on June 4, the race will commence in Miami and travel through Atlanta, New York City, Edinburgh, London, Paris, and Barcelona before wrapping up in Ibiza as confirmed by The Supercar Kids.

The Gumball 3000 has received an outpouring of criticism in the past.
In 2007, an elderly Russian couple was killed when their car was struck by a participant in the rally. Other racers have also had their cars confiscated and licenses suspended, including rapper Xzibit for going over 30 mph over the speed limit.
Today the producer released a video showing a 360 degree tour through his Vimeo account.
