Romanian producer Boehm is back with another melodic collaboration, this time cover Ben Howard’s “I Forget Where We Were” with George Ogilvie.
Out of the gate, the traditionally tropical live instrumentals of ambient guitar riffs, steel drums, and maracas compound upon one another before the vocals kick back in. Fast forward a couple verses and viola strings elevate upbeat claps that will inevitably put a smile upon your face.
Before listening to the song, the thought of sunshine hadn’t even crossed my mind and there are already three empty pina colada glasses chilling on the table.
With such a positive message and warm tone, it’s tough not to get behind Boehm’s remix of “I Forget Where We Were.” Here’s a link for a hammock, because why not? I just bought 3.
