2. Mysteryland

Mysteryland seems to be on the radar of everyone this year. The longest running festival in the world (since 1993), Mysteryland has finally migrated across the pond and will be making its’ debut in the United States.
Held in Bethel Woods, New York, Mysteryland comes to the spot known far and wide as the “Holy Ground.” Not ringing a bell? The Bethel Woods location is the same venue that hosted the infamous 1969 Woodstock where the game was forever changed. Kaskade seems to think this year and this festival could serve the same purpose to our generation.
There was a cultural shift with the original Woodstock. People figured out that Janis Joplin was more than a singer. Santana is more than a guitarist. There’s more to Electronic Music than guys pressing play on their iPods, repetitive beats and ravers wearing fuzzy boots. This is the right moment and the proper real estate to bring this truth to the forefront. I look forward to being part of this new history and bringing my sound along for the ride. Our time is now.

Kicked off by a Thursday night pre-party, Mysteryland will see Steve Aoki, Nervo, Dillon Francis, Flosstradamus, The Chainsmokers, Moby, Big Gigantic and more join the aforementioned Kaskade as a list of headliners ready to leave their imprint on the legend of electronic dance music.
