Jingle Ball has been known as the holiday party of the season in South Florida for years. For 2016, EDM powerhouse, Zedd, will grace the stage and jingle some bells for sure. He may be sharing the stage with ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez, but mistletoe is not what he has in mind.
Zedd is taking the main stage as the perfect performer to bring a cross over electro house to a predominately Top 40 audience. Drawing on his background as a classically trained pianist, his progressive house and dubstep beats often focus heavily on melodies. While Christmas Carols may not be on his set list, you can be sure you’ll hear hits from his newest album True Colors.
“Beautiful Now” off his latest album peaked as number 1 on Billboard’s Hot Dance Club songs. Not long after, Zedd performed at the 2015 CMT Music awards with country supergroup, Lady Antebellum.
Zedd has been a visionary in the music business since he was a child and has now established himself as a serious player that will be credited as one of the first true EDM-pop crossover artists.
