At the beginning of the year we pegged Norwegian tropical house producer Matoma as one of the names to keep an eye on in 2015 and he sure has been living up to that acclaim.

Having announced his first U.S. tour including a stop at Electric Forest, Matoma is captivating listeners with his upbeat, effervescent sound. Transforming classics by some of the most popular producers of all time, including Jay Z and Eminem, into tropical treats, Matoma continues to be on a tear.

After one of the most successful Miami Music Week runs of any producer this year, which saw him shoot his first music video, Matoma was struck with inspiration.

What better track to pay homage to a milestone week in his career than with Will Smith’s “Miami.”
