Recently, the EDM community and the world as a whole lost a cherished soul. In early 2015 ‘Mama Irene’ Guadagno, mother of Insomniac Events founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella, sadly lost her battle with cancer.
An effervescent person, mother, and friend – our hearts go out to her family and loved ones during these tough times.
In the EDM community it’s sometimes easy to forget that we’re all a family; a single interconnected group of smilers, dancers, and huggers.
Mama Irene reminded of this, and we hope that this feeling is never lost.
Never afraid to dance and always wearing her heart on her sleeve, Mama Irene was a role model for so many in the scene today. With a smile 10 miles wide and an everlasting aura of pure happiness, we know that she lives on in the lives that she has touched.
So to honor her life, choose to learn from what she taught.
