Zach Daniels, Anthony Lauletta and Mike LaSpina of The Sleeping Sounds released their debut single ‘Figure it Out‘ during October of last year. Based out of Cleveland, the band acquired an instant fan-base with the adventurous hit single.
Shortly after the success of their debut song, The Sleeping Sounds brought in the New Year with their first EP Desire. Their bold take on the concept of love put them at the forefront of indie-pop rock.
Today, The Sleeping Sounds’ debut single ‘Figure it Out’ has been reinvented by an edgy electronic duo known as PRFKT.
We got in touch with Harrison Mbemba from PRFKT who had nothing but great things to say about The Sleeping Sounds:
Our remix to ‘Figure it out’ was one of those songs that just came together. The vocals from TSS were so smooth and pop ready we knew we had to do something big for the drop. Our style is a fusion of pop, dancehall and EDM. ‘Figure it out’ was the perfect track for that.
