Each year Splash House invades Palm Springs with two outrageous pool parties in June and August. House, future bass, and techno fans gather by the poolside dressed as the wildest summertime characters you can think of. You’ll find festival-goers in lifeguard tanks, captain hats, Hawaiian shirts, bright wigs, you name it. Entering its sixth year, Splash House ended their 2019 chapter with a complete bang.
Each stage embraced their own essence of house rhythms and euphoric energy.
Over at the Renaissance hotel, Chris Malinchak rinsed the stage with some laid back house that sent chilling sensations across the dance floor. He even mixed in tracks from his latest Wash My Soul EP. Anjunadeep newcomer, Luttrell graced the stage Sunday afternoon and played an unreleased deep house remix of Jai Wolf’s “Lose My Mind”. Luttrell has already made substantial waves in the scene by performing at Coachella’s Do Lab stage, Tomorrowland, and has supported artists on tour like Lane 8. Speaking of which, Lane 8 played later that afternoon and continued the deep house vibrations; mixing in originals and tracks from house legends Rüfüs Du Sol.
Claude VonStroke closed the Renaissance stage and dispersed a new rush of energy as the sun went down. He mixed things up from the day time with a bass-heavy house set that was filled with unreleased tracks that sent the crowd absolutely wild. That will definitely be a mix to keep an eye out for, in the near future.

Luttrell on the Do LaB Stage Weekend One 2018:
The pulsations from the gritty, house basslines circulated the air at the Saguaro hotel.
The pool was brimming with beautiful smiles, vibrant bikinis, and plenty of ice cream cone floaties. On Saturday, uprising edgy house producer Option4 laid down some experimental house beats. Detroit duo, Golf Clap shortly followed and threw the party into second gear. They sprinkled their set with some funky house and bass. Dirtybird’s powerhouse collab, Escapade (Walker & Royce and Ardalan) dropped an insane 2 hour mix to close the stage.
Once the stages shut down around 9 pm, there were still options for anyone to get that extra house fix. Over at the Air Museum the after party surged the momentum until 2 in the morning. Diplo popped in for a surprise house set and surely dropped jaws across the dancefloor. Mark Knight honestly may have induced some out-of-body experiences. His rhythms are undeniably seamless. From day parting into the night, it is safe to say that things got weird. With light up gizmos, dancing on tables, the 3 crowds from each of the day stages joined together as one, and lost control in the best way possible.

The Riviera consistently balanced the right amount of melodic feels with bassy vibrations for both days.
Between Taska Black, Tourist, Keys N Krates it was hard to stay away from this heavenly future bass line up. Even in the 106 ° F weather, Shallou still made it possible to send chills up the spine with his dreamy melodies. Future bass champion Ekali closed the Riviera stage and ended the weekend on a perfect note.
