Seth Troxler is set to take his chef skills to the streets on Wednesday, October 14 in Amsterdam, and he’s doing more than competing in Amsterdam Dance Event’s (ADE) annual DJ Cook-Off.
Troxler will be competing in the cook-off (he’s won the last 3 years running), but he’s also bringing his culinary talents to the walk-in homeless shelter De Kloff in Amsterdam.
Cooking lunch for 75, Troxler, ADE, and 10,000 HOURS have invited DJ Makam, Radio Noet-Noet, as well as fans to come out and volunteer. Although the volunteer deadline for this event has passed, you can still get involved with the organization by reaching out to the 10,000 HOURS foundation.
Unfortunately, they need all the help that they can get.
With 1 in 5 people of Amsterdam currently living below the poverty line, the rate of people seeking help for financial and social problems has skyrocketed over the past several years. While organizations like 10,000 HOURS and De Regenboog Groep are doing what they can, they are constantly looking for more volunteers to help the people of Amsterdam.
Let’s use music as a jumping off point to change the world.
