When it comes to house music, Brooklyn is one of the most fertile underground scenes in the United States. The gentrification of the borough has seen an influx of talented people plant their roots, causing a music and arts boom. Between Time Warp and the events thrown by BangOn!, Brooklyn is establishing itself as a house music haven, and that doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface.
At the center of it all is N2N who has been relentless in his pursuit of house-music greatness. Teaming up with the local homie AKKI, the Brooklyn duo delivers a tantalizing flip of Saint WKND’s “Runaway” that is a straight head-to-the-floor, body-moving tune.
