REZZ has dropped a brand new six-track EP titled Something Wrong Here, just in time for the very exciting Lunatic Tour that she’s about to embark upon with Malaa.
Her bass-boosted, dark underground techno sound has pricked the ears of many key players in the dance music industry, like Deadmau5 who has been supporting REZZ throughout her musical journey. Isabelle Rezazadeh hails from Niagara Falls and has been producing music since 2013. While this may not seem like a long time, she has truly thrown herself into her music, spending 14 hour days locked in her room mastering music theory and production, and it definitely shows!
With Something Wrong Here as her second EP of the year to drop, REZZ surely has been busy this 2016.
The Canada based rising star has just released her fourth EP of her production career on October 7th. Released via Mau5trap Records, Something Wrong Here features six funky and unique tracks. In addition to “Melancholy,” which is a lovely vocal tune featuring songwriter and vocalist Laura Brahm, “Purple Gusher,” “Selector,” “Cryptic,” “Voice In The Wall” and “Paranoid” are all instrumental bangers.
The entire Something Wrong Here EP is a beautiful masterpiece, right down to the trippy album artwork, created by Luis Colindres Art.
As a follow up to her third EP Silence Is Deafening, which was released in January this year, Something Wrong Here features “Voice In The Wall” that you may have heard before, as well as five brand new tracks never before released. While looking through artwork one day, Chicago-based artist Luis Colindres inspired the young producer in more ways than one, and now his work is the album to REZZ‘s new EP!
“My friend and I were looking at artwork one day (created by Chicago-based illustrator Luis Colindres) and one of them questioned ‘What’s wrong here?’ I got super inspired and decided to title my EP Something Wrong Here. I felt the name was super suitable and trippy.” – REZZ
With support from MTV, Teen Vogue, LA WEEKLY and other outlets, several heavy-weight artists in the industry, as well as being named an artist to watch by both Billboard and Dancing Astronaut, it seems that REZZ is just steamrolling ahead to becoming a dance music icon, and showing absolutely no signs of slowing down!
Along with the drop of her Something Wrong Here EP, REZZ unveils North America tour dates.
In conjunction with her fourth EP’s release, now REZZ is sharing news about her upcoming North America tour. As if the amazing new Something Wrong Here EP isn’t enough, REZZ is embarking upon the Lunatic Tour, where she will join forces with the mysterious masked Malaa to takeover North America. Her sound is as unique as her live performances, as each one is different from the last. She makes a point to ensure this by playing a few tracks from her arsenal of dark techno tunes that are special to that performance that nobody else will hear, unless they were at that one show.
