Bay area producer Raessar dropped a hype trap banger that’s sure to get dance floors moving across the world.
Following his passion for music at an early age, Raessar first started producing and DJing at age 14. Initially taking inspiration from hip hop, samples, and breaks – Raessar expanded his tastes to include influences as broad as trap, house, trance, jazz, and funk.
As one listens through Raessar’s back catalog, snippets of each style rise to the surface to create his unique and eclectic sound.
As for “Wadada Dang”, the song is a definite trap monster that starts softly and builds to a quick peak, dropping into krunk mode around the 40 second mark.
Deep wonky bass bends around the beat to provide a subwoofer rattling backdrop that propels the entire song forward.
Chopped and warped vocal samples feature prominently in the track, giving a dancehall-esque vibe to the trap groover. A true club shaker, “Wadada Dang’s” 8-bit inspired leads propel the track’s high end as sparse breakbeat style percussion leaves plenty of room for the bass line to wreak tasty havoc. Reverb gives plenty of space in the mix, letting each distinct part of the track truly shine.
With a dark and spacious sound, Raesser hit a home run with the “Wadada Dang’s” ominous and mesmerizing feel.
