Firrst Daughter of the United States, Malia Obama, made headlines this week for attending Chicago’s Lollapalooza.
Instead of attending the Democratic National Convention, she chose to live her life as any 18 year old would and enjoy unforgettable moments with friends at a music festival.
Don’t worry Malia – the rave and dance music community accepts anyone and everyone.
She chose to enjoy herself during the summer after graduating high school and before going off to Harvard, her father’s alma matter.
Malia saw Cashmere Cat (amazing choice) among others artists, and was seen with friends and secret service around her having a great time.
While a lot of the media is shaming her for not fulfilling her “duty”, music lovers and generally sane people understand her need to go out and dance. As a young girl who hasn’t had a single scandal, it’s unfortunate to see the media nitpicking such a “normal” thing.
It’s a shame to see that she’s being slandered for, you guessed it – having fun.
