On November 20, 2014, Martin Garrix took to Twitter with news of the long awaited “secret location” for his New Year’s Eve show in New York City this coming December. Garrix will be performing at Pier 36 along with Jay Hardway, Oliver Heldens, Julian Jordan, and special guest Ansolo.
While the big apple will be one of the major hubs for electronic dance music that week, this particular 21+ show is going to be massive. Garrix has been bringing the house down all over the world with recent performances in places like Argentina, Chile and Paraguay, while showing no signs of slowing down.
The 19 year old DJ has had an incredible path to fame this year with history-making sets at huge electronic dance music festivals like TomorrowWorld, Electric Daisy Carnival, Ultra, and even Coachella, not to mention his chart-topping collaborations with Dillon Francis (Set Me Free) and Jay Hardway (Wizard).
With such a fresh and young combination of top Dutch artists, Pier36 will have New York City jumping all through the night.
But be sure to hold onto that champagne glass when the ball drops the beat, because there will be no crazier way to ring in the new year.
American Actor/DJ and New York City native, Ansel Elgort, performing under the name “Ansolo,” will also be a set to see. His latest release called “Strong” has been popping up all over the place, with his fanbase rapidly expanding. Taking the beatport charts by storm, Ansolo has been rocking progressive house tracks for the last few months.
Tickets can be purchased at GarrixNYE.com with the convenient option of a payment plan.
