It’s always refreshing seeing well-known producers jump out of the box and try something new.
NGHTMRE steps out of his comfort zone with “Get Back,” a house track that does an exceptional job of showing this trap producer’s versatility.
When producer’s get into the dance music scene, they usually come up on one distinct genre of music. Whether it be trap, dubstep or house, that producer is almost automatically put into that box by listeners.
The third track of his upcoming EP, Get Back samples the classic Ludacris song from the mid 2000s. Pairing the sample with a 4/4 house beat that’s both funky as it is grimy. Coming from NGHTMRE, who is at the peak of trap producers, this is a refreshing breathe of fresh air.
Overall the song is a great addition to NGHTMRE’s already impressive upcoming EP.
