Consider ourselves lucky to have something that makes saying goodbye so difficult. We’re not trying to be a Debbie Downer—trust us, vibe check approved, but what good does it do to sit around and pout about all the what-ifs? Sure, it’s a travesty to have lost $350 that you already didn’t have on a TBD event, but haven’t you heard that experiences are priceless?
Keep your chin up, darling, the show isn’t canceled, and this isn’t a goodbye to live entertainment; your tickets will transfer over to next year’s festivities and you will be fine. You will see Lost Kings live, and TBH, when you do, we guarantee it will be a better show than what could have been one year prior.
Why? Because while we were all drowning in a self-pity party, six Tito’s shots deep, they were out being bosses by dabbling with new music, mastering the art of transition towards other visions, and may we say, becoming beasts in their at-home gym. Not only have these guys released two new songs, but they also blew up the internet with a music video for a song that is definitely 2020 Lost Kings. Just watch the video and listen—you’re going to love their direction.
According to our snapchat memories, it was this time last year when we sat down with Nick and Rob at our oasis Life Is Beautiful. With that and the 4-1-1 on their recent releases, we took it as a sign—we had to catch up with our boys. Via Zoom, we got real with them. From dissecting their feels about the current global situation to Nick’s upcoming hair appointment, we talked about it all.
What we managed to grasp from the convo is that they’re doing great and looking great. They have taken this time to test out unsought sounds. Although we can’t release a full transcript of our Zoom, we can confirm that they have a plenitude of music coming out soon that goes off of their most recent creation with Ty Dolla $ign ‘Oops (I’m sorry).’
If the guys are pushing through this pandemic and taking the time to improve on themselves, I think as avid fans, we owe it to them to do the same. Turn on some Lost Kings and brush your teeth, take your vitamins, then go for a run. For now, join the fun on Lost Kings Tik Tok.
