Ever have one of those days that is very introspective and leaves you pondering everything that has brought you to where you are today?
I think its’ safe to assume that we all have. Before we started this venture at thatDROP, one of the most significant performances I had attended was Kaskade at American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida. This was fresh off the release of his latest album Atmosphere and the tracks just spoke to me.
Sitting in the first row of the balcony overlooking the thousands of electronic dance music music lovers while they waved around luminescent glow wands while the LED boards encapsulated their energy, I was completely moved by the impact of the music.
One song that specifically stuck out to me was “No One Knows Who We Are”
The title says it all. As seemingly insignificant as we all are individually, each one of us possesses the power to make a profound impact that can be carried forward to withstand the test of time.
Whether Kaskade himself, with his legacy that will forever live on through his music, or each EDM fanatic coming together to create a collective energy that challenges the roof not to blow off of its’ foundation.
