The return of Justice is now official.
The French DJ-duo of Xavier de Rosnay and Gaspard Augé announced this past week that their third album, Woman, will be released this November.
The announcement came in tandem with the release of “Randy”, Woman‘s first official single, and the second release from the duo prior to release.
Heavy guitars and classic Justice synths flow through the duo’s first single off Woman
“Randy” begins with an up-tempo drum beat that kicks into industrial-sounding synths and is balanced out by soft vocals. After the track hits the bridge, quick guitar riffs add edge and orchestral strings flow in and out to give the funk-centered track more depth.
De Rosnay, during the premiere of “Randy” on Annie Mac‘s show for BBC Radio 1, stated that:
‘Randy’ started as an almost industrial techno track, but we were in such a good mood that day that we ended up making the song as it is that is real like joyful. Like if you’re in the car with your best friends or your lover or your kids. And that’s the feeling of the whole record I guess.
Woman will be released on November 18th via Ed Banger Records and Because Music.
