It’s always a joy to see producers that have blown up recently join forces.
JAUZ saw success through the popularization of bass house and his “No Genres” mantra. San Holo, on the other hand, blew up through his remixes of old-school classics and his unique production style mixing future bass, trap, and other genres into his own little melting pot.
When word first broke out that these two artists were working together, we were all curious to hear what the result would be – what direction would they take? Their collaboration has finally been released via Monstercat is titled “OK!”.
“OK!” throws genres out the window as they masterfully combine each others’ production prowess.
This track is all over the place, in the best possible way. At its core, this track is dichotomous combining JAUZ‘s headbanging beats and dirty synths while also implementing San Holo‘s bright colorful synths and uplifting vocal chops.
“OK!” is one of the few collaborations that truly seems like a 50/50. The two producers go together perfectly and we hope it’s not the last time they collaborate.
