JAUZ Throws It Back with a Remix of Passion Pit’s Classic Hit “Sleepyhead”

“Sleepyhead” was released back in 2008 and was Passion Pit‘s debut single. When the dubstep movement started in the United States around 2010, Borgore released his popular remix that was a staple of the genre for years to come. For anyone that’s been a fan of indietronica or dubstep, the track’s vocals are extremely nostalgic.

JAUZ decided to throw it back this week and drop his own remix.

JAUZ transforms “Sleepyhead” into a feel-good track filled with future bass and 8-bit synths.

Following his “No Genres” motto, JAUZ channels future bass for this remix. While still maintaining the trademark vocals of the original, he is able to completely alter the environment and turn it into a track that will put a smile on your face.

Be sure to listen to the second drop, as it’s pure bliss.
