Frankyeffe Debuts Imprint, RXC, with No-Nonsense ‘Solid’ / ‘Liquid’ EP

Today sees the established Rome-based techno label Riot Recordings launch sister label, RXC, with a monstrous 2-track ‘Solid’ / ‘Liquid’ EP by its prolific head honcho, Frankyeffe

Despite this year’s unprecedented circumstances, the hard-working Italian producer, DJ and label owner has remained incredibly focused on perfecting his craft and delivering some of the world’s finest techno music.

This year alone has seen the talented Italian serve up releases on prominent labels such as Suara, Senso Sounds, JAM, Misfit Music, while last month Frankyeffe harnesses 2020 through his remix of a classic 90’s techno cut, ‘Thank God It’s Friday’, he continues to bring it proper for RXC001.

‘Solid’ kicks the EP off delivering a no-nonsense techno workout featuring a pounding 4/4 beat, a squelchy acid line and an abundance of atmospheric textures that fill the room. ‘Liquid’ is next up and concludes the release by continuing the musical mayhem by comprising of a huge distorted kick drum complemented by razor-sharp hi-hats and rolling percussion set to an array of chilling sound effects – this release certainly isn’t for the faint hearted!

Beyond releasing records, Frankyeffe has been keeping fresh behind the decks along his virtual Monument Tour and shining light on the darkest corners of electronic music through his Riot Radio Show by hosting the likes of Zafer Atabey, TLA, Dado Dsd and Some Me, proving to be a vital source to discovering the Italian techno scene.
