Essential Topline Vocalist, Cristina Soto Reimagines a Trance Classic, 'Lifted'

Cristina Soto is best known for her vocal work with CloZee, Illenium, Said The Sky and the brilliant trance duo, Tritonal or all the remixes of her music by the likes of Seven Lions. Most recently the Austin based talent laid down a new indie folk version of a Tritonal favorite, ‘Lifted‘ that will resonate with Rising Appalachia fans.

“I was so excited to rework ‘Lifted’ as an acoustic mix because the progression, melodies, and lyrics are strong, and I felt that it could stand the test of time,” shared Soto. “The message of imperfect love is also still a relevant one.”

Featuring Robert Soto on guitars and drums, Omar Vallejo on bass, and Haydn Vitera on strings, Soto’s new mix breathes new soul into the beloved classic to celebrate the the track’s 10th anniversary while maintaining the heart felt message that digs deep. We will see if her acoustic mix goes full circle by getting the remix treatment it is calling for.
