Atlanta producer Herobust has been having a huge 2016. Between his remixes of NGHTMRE‘s “Street”, Knife Party‘s “Destroy Them With Lazers” and his “I’m Aloud EP”, it’s almost impossible to not have heard at least one of his songs in DJ sets around the world.
He’s an extremely versatile producer and while he’s known for his “BUSTED” style of hard-hitting bass music, that doesn’t mean he can’t bring the feels.
His newest remix of D.R.A.M. & Lil Yachty’s hit “Broccoli” is emotional and was inspired by the recent events in Dallas.
This certainly isn’t the first time we’ve seen Herobust bring out more emotional and melodic tracks. Recently, his remix of Kill The Noise‘s “Lose Ya Love”, while still a bass-heavy banger, incorporated elements of future bass and bubbly arpeggios.
His newest remix of “Broccoli” is melodic, uplifting, and simply addicting. While many will immediately draw parallels to Marshmello‘s production style, Herobust clearly separated himself utilizing his stylistic production style.
“I made this Broccoli remix right after the recent events in Dallas. It was an emotional time for many of us and I honestly couldn’t bring myself to just write another banger. So I set out to make something a bit more uplifting than usual. Something to help take myself and others “beyond the fuck shit” if you will 🙂 Making this track really helped me stay positive and I hope it can help all of you as well.”
