Insomniac is known for being on the cutting edge of dance music, but this idea extends well past the stage.
Pasqualle Rotella, CEO and Founder of Insomniac, will further exemplify this ethos on Thursday, October 8 when he and Insomniac will donate $105,000 of the proceeds from EDC Las Vegas 2015 to three Las Vegas nonprofit organizations.
The Emergency Medicine Resident Research Fund, Injured Police Officers Fund, and HELP of Southern Nevada’s Shannon West Homeless Youth Center will each receive a $35,000 donation.
In addition to that, Insomniac will celebrate their first ever “EDC Week Charity Auction”, which helped to raise roughly $70,000 for Culture Shock Las Vegas, a nonprofit that uses performance art and dance to steer youth away from substance abuse, violence, and hatred.
Since 2011, Insomniac has donated over $380,000 to local organizations, doing their part to positively impact in the communities in which they operate.
Our hat is off to you, Insomniac, for using dance music to make the world a better place.
