Flume has been tantric with the teasers surrounding his upcoming album. After hinting with subtle artwork in December and releasing a 5-minute teaser at the beginning of January, our first taste of that signature, synthy goodness that we’ve all come to love is upon us.
Having premiered on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1, the release from the Australian producer is a bit more vocally inclined than what we are used to, not that we’re upset about it. The tightly wound production is filled with crispy hi-hats and the vocals of of Toronto vocalist Kai could lull a raging schizophrenic into a trance.
