Firefly Music Festival Returns to the Woods with Epic Performances

Firefly Music Festival 2018 in the Woodlands of Dover, Delaware was truly one for the books. Throughout the weekend, popular acts like Martin Garrix, ODESZA, The Killers, and Eminem put on energetic performances for massive crowds. From Thursday through Sunday, attendees truly enjoyed the perfect weather and impressively eclectic lineup.

Firefly 2018 featured some very epic dance music artists, who brought distinct styles and sounds to the event.

On ThursdayTwo Friends and Kap Slap took the stage, getting the party started with their original music and other popular hits. The event was off to a great start, with good music and many different activities and vendors to check out.

Attendees were more than ready for huge performances on Friday, from the likes of Big Gigantic, Cheat Codes, and Hotel GarudaEach brought distinct sounds to the crowds. Big Gigantic dropped amazing, saxophone-infused bangers, while Hotel Garuda played lots of infectious deep house. Check out our exclusive interview with Hotel Garuda before the event.

By Saturday, the event was in full swing. San Holo threw down during his particularly memorable set, bringing his catalogue of melodic trap to a massive crowd of fans.


Mainstage heavyweight Martin Garrix got festival-goers moving with tracks like “Spotless” and “Turn Up The Speakers”. Garrix closed out the third day of the event as one of only three late-night acts, illustrating the mainstream appeal of EDM at the event.

Sunday was equally exciting, as attendees enjoyed the last day of Firefly. Whethan and Party Favor both showcased their talent at The Pavilion tent. Later in the evening, ODESZA closed Firefly 2018 out at the Backyard Stage. Enjoy of exclusive interview with Whethan after his set Sunday.

All around, Firefly 2018 was an awesome event for dance music fans. The chance to catch some of the genre’s biggest acts live at the East Coast’s largest camping and music festival was not to be missed.
